Dine For Hope
Join us on 7 November in Maun for the second Dine For Hope, raising funds to make room for more children at Lorato House.
What Your Gift Does
On the 7th of November 2026 Lorato House will host the second edition of Dine For Hope, a flagship fundraising initiative organised by Lorato House in partnership with BOSWA Culinary Institute of Botswana.
The event will take place at The Life Centre in Maun, Botswana. Dine For Hope is aimed at locking arms with various stakeholders including corporate partners, donors and community members, all in a commitment to strengthen the living conditions and wellbeing of children in care.
Last Year
Funds raised last year went toward renovating one of the housing units at the Love Botswana Launch Centre, providing much needed additional space for older girls at Lorato House. We currently have 90 children and counting!
This Year's Goals
This year, we want to:
- Renovate another one of the units at the Launch Centre to provide a home for our older boys. Additionally, there is need for beds, mattresses, storage and everyday essentials.
- Install a walk-in cold room so we can more effectively manage and store fresh food.
- Furnish and equip our kitchen with items such as an industrial stove so it can match the capacity of the number of children we have – and more who will come our way.
- Clothe them with the right sizes. Children grow every day. They need clothing and shoes that will fit their growing bodies through every developmental phase and season.
- Always ensure they have everything they need daily to make them comfortable. This means always having essentials such as toiletry, laundry supplies, diapers and cleaning materials on hand.
Whether you are in Botswana or outside, you can partner with us to make room for children at Lorato House and continue to provide them with the care they need.
Ways to Partner With Us
This is an invitation to individuals, families, communities, churches and businesses to partner with us to give children quality care. There are various ways to do this:
- You can contribute directly toward Dine For Hope, we have various sponsorship tiers, including an amount of your choosing.

- You can sponsor a table as an individual, a church, or business, even if you won't be in the room. Your name, family, church or business will be publicly acknowledged as part of Dine for Hope in Botswana. Significant in-kind contributions may also qualify for sponsorship recognition.
Sponsorship Levels
- Bronze: P25,000 (about US$1,900). Recognition in the programme and on social media.
- Silver: P40,000 (about US$3,050). A table, plus programme and social media recognition.
- Gold: P75,000 (about US$5,700). A VIP table, branding visibility and media recognition.
- Platinum: P100,000 (about US$7,600). A premium VIP table, headline recognition, top-tier branding and a speaking opportunity.
Sponsorship levels are set in Pula. US-dollar amounts are approximate, based on the Bank of Botswana rate on 23 September 2026, and may change with exchange rates.
